ETIAS

The European Union is introducing ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) in 2024. It will be compulsory for all travellers who do not need a visa to travel to Europe.

ETIAS is an electronic system that allows Europe to keep track of visitors to the Schengen area, for those who do not need visa to enter area. It is similar to Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), which is for visitors to the USA.

ETIAS will cost €7.00 and will be valid for 3 years, or until your passport expires, whichever is sooner.
